After a long delay, Astoria Park Alliance is so excited to present our 3rd Classic Car Show (formerly the Fathers’ Day Classic Car Show). Set against the beauty of Astoria Park and Shore Boulevard, this beloved tradition will return to the park this September 21st. Free to the community, park-goers are encouraged to come and check out over 100 classic cars from around the region. All ages are encouraged to meet the car owners and learn about their vehicles.
Live music from local band Spitfire will be featured on the main stage. And the event will also feature a live DJ, delicious local eats, and interactive family activities, all set in one of the most iconic and scenic locations in New York City.
Classic car owners will have their vehicles professionally judged in a variety of categories, with trophy presentations on stage to conclude the event. Cars will be awarded for finishing in the Top 25 and the coveted overall Best in Show. But park-goers are also encouraged to vote, as there will be both a People’s Choice and Kid’s Choice awarded to cars.
For car owners, same-day registration begins as early as 9am, and the event officially starts at 11am, with trophy presentation and closing ceremonies starting at 2:30pm before we wrap up at 3pm. Entry fee per vehicle is a $25 donation to Astoria Park Alliance which will be collected at registration.
The car show is made possible with sponsorship support from the Simicich Limberis Law Group, Blue Brick Real Estate, and Old Astoria Neighborhood Association.
